I wrote a very gory take on the human livestock concept for Goreswap 2023. Feel free to go that route or take more of a dairy farm/hucow approach. As noted above, my big (aheh) things for impregnation/eggpreg are hole stretching and size kink, and I also love it when the person's uterus or guts are crammed absolutely full of offspring/eggs. I would dearly love to see Silas hang out with John Raven and talk radical publishing and D/s ethics. For this canon, I will take anything please and thank you. Canon characters, original characters, your take on quadrisex worldbuilding, a crossover with your favorite canon, whatever. Anything at all. Follow your heart, your ideas are beautiful.

Regarding explicit art: I'm fine with art depicting sex or kink as long as it doesn't show unclothed genitals. Tight underwear or Hans's tiny swimsuit is fine. Two naked people pressed together who are obviously having penetrative sex is also fine, as long as the penetration itself isn't shown. Sticky sex aftermath is great. Bare chests of any configuration are fine. All that said, even for explicit artwork, my preference is for the overall focus to be on the way that the characters relate to each other. Facial expressions and body language matter much more to me than titillation.

I'm open to remixes and recursive work of all my Royalsverse works. If you want to make a fancomic of a scene from the series, my suggestion is the garden party scene at the end of "Their Highnesses Become Acquainted," which is very visual. Many of the short scenes in "Q Is for Quadrisex" would be great short comics. Or write your own!

I just finished rereading this (in the unredacted English translation) and I'd forgotten just how much Dumas wants us to know how MANLY and HANDSOME and BROAD-CHESTED and CHARISMATIC Edmond is. Like, so much. And this magnetism is particularly apparent when he's with Albert. So... let them fuck! Maybe in Italy? (Franz can play too, though it would be funny if he were like "sigh, Albert's off with some chick again while I'm high and dry" and Albert is actually in the suite next door sucking Edmond's dick.) Maybe when they're hanging out at the Count's country house while Albert is moping about having challenged Beauchamp to the world's stupidest duel? I usually DNW angst and pining, but I'll make an exception for Edmond to be pretending as hard as he can that he's actually fucking Mercédès, while Albert is also pretending as hard as he can that he's actually fucking Mercédès. (I don't ship Albert and Mercédès, because I think she would never allow herself to touch him inappropriately and isn't really into him that way, but he's obviously in love with her to an unhealthy degree.)

Franz and Albert obviously also have some kind of bromance going on. I think of them as casual friends who fuck, but it would also be totally in character for Franz to be pining for Albert, who is completely oblivious (because he's pining for his mother and/or Edmond). Poor Franz is really jerked around by the narrative; he disappears as soon as he's no longer needed to contribute to the Villefort family plot thread. Maybe he and Albert reunite years post-canon; what might that be like?

Haydée/Valentine takes advantage of the month they spent hanging out while Valentine was getting over being mostly dead. They're as close as sisters by the end of it. Show me just how close they got.

Beauchamp/Debray/Château-Renaud is like if COMC were Succession. These horrible people are so horrible! Beauchamp is the least horrible, but he's still pretty bad; the only thing likable about him is that he's a genuine friend to Albert and does take his work fairly seriously. Catty Château-Renaud finds fault in everyone but himself, and Debray is just the absolute worst. So obviously I want to see them all getting it on while gossiping about everyone else, bickering among themselves, and generally being their awful selves. Please feel no need to redeem them in any way.

Finally, Noirtier and Villefort have a fascinating relationship. I'd love to see more of them when Noirtier is fit and able and still a sort of prototype of the Count, like when they have that spectacular early interaction where Villefort reluctantly says there's a warrant out for Noirtier and Noirtier steals his clothes! Noirtier is a pretty bad dad and I don't blame Villefort for being torn between caring about him and wanting nothing to do with him, all tangled up in filial obligation and reluctant admiration for this dashing revolutionary figure who's certain of himself in a way Villefort can never be. Go as angsty as you want with this one.

How to shake a gift

Shaking a gift refers to a process of trying to narrow down which unrevealed work is yours and get a sense of how it's tagged. There are several ways to do this, some more specific and some less; for example, you can look at the collection list of fandoms for a fandom you requested, then look at the tags for works in those fandoms and try to guess whether one might be yours.

This method lets you conclusively identify a specific gift as yours and look at the tags on it. Note that it won't show un-canonized tags, so it will be less useful for Original Work, new fandoms, new ships, and chatty freeforms.

1. Go to your Gifts page: https://archiveofourown.org/users/YOURUSERNAME/gifts

2. Right click or cmd-click and click View Page Source.

3. Ctrl-F or cmd-F and search down the page for mystery header.

4. Just above it will be something like id="work_11111111". Copy just the numbers from the work id, not the work_ part.

5. Go to the Works page for the collection the work is in: https://archiveofourown.org/collections/COLLECTIONNAME/works

6. Scroll down on the right-hand sidebar, all the way to the bottom, and put id: followed by the work ID number (like id:11111111) in the Search Within Results box.

7. You'll get one work that's your gift and then you can open all the filter boxes to see how it's tagged.

There's now a script that automates this process. Install Greasemonkey or Tampermonkey in your browser, and then install this script. It will add a "shake gift" button to any mystery gift.
